San Francisco Bay Area 2026 FIFA World Cup City Guide

The San Francisco Bay Area hosts 6 matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including a Round of 32 knockout match. This complete guide covers everything World Cup fans need for visiting San Francisco and the Bay Area in June and July 2026.

This is honestly the most difficult guide to create. San Francisco and the Bay Area is incredibly dense with a myriad of activities and cultures in any direction you go. If you’re in this area for a match, we highly recommend looking at as many day trips as possible to explore north, south and east. Some people can spend an entire week touring Wine Country in Napa and Sonoma while others can do the same in the city itself.
