1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or “user”) and Kinsleo Media LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in the State of Georgia, USA (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Kinsleo Media”). These Terms govern your access to and use of the websites located at TheWorldCupGuide.com and 2026bracket.vercel.app, along with all content, features, and functionality offered through them (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any portion of these Terms, you must stop using the Service immediately.
2. Description of the Service
The Service consists of two primary components:
- TheWorldCupGuide.com — A blog and content platform providing information about the 2026 WC, including travel guides, ticketing information, and related editorial content.
- 2026 WC Bracket Predictor (accessible at 2026bracket.vercel.app) — A free, interactive prediction tool where users can forecast results of the 2026 WC 48-team tournament format. Users predict group stage rankings, which third-place teams advance, and knockout round outcomes. Users may save and share their brackets, create or join groups, and compete on leaderboards.
We also offer an optional email newsletter delivered through the Beehiiv platform. Subscribing to the newsletter is entirely voluntary and is not required to use the Service.
The Service is provided free of charge. No features are restricted behind any paywall or premium tier.
3. User Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To save brackets, join groups, and appear on leaderboards, you must create an account. Authentication is handled through email-based magic links — you will receive a one-time sign-in link via email each time you log in. No password is created or stored.
3.2 Display Names
During registration, you will choose a display name that is visible to other users on leaderboards and within groups. Display names must be between 2 and 30 characters long and may contain only letters, numbers, spaces, underscores, and hyphens.
3.3 Bracket Limits
Each user account is limited to a maximum of 10 saved brackets. This limit is enforced at the database level.
3.4 Managing Your Account
You may delete your own brackets and leave groups at any time through the Service interface. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, you may do so by sending a request to hello@theworldcupguide.com. We will process account deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.
3.5 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account. Because authentication relies on email magic links, anyone with access to your email inbox can access your account. We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your email account.
4. Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and confirm that you are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we discover that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete their account and any associated data. If you believe a child under 13 is using the Service, please notify us at hello@theworldcupguide.com.
5. User Conduct
When using the Service, you agree to the following:
- Display names: Your display name must not contain offensive language, hate speech, slurs, sexually explicit material, or content that impersonates another person, public figure, or organization.
- Fair use: You will not use automated tools, bots, scripts, or scrapers to access the Service, submit predictions, or extract data.
- System integrity: You will not attempt to manipulate leaderboard rankings, exploit software vulnerabilities, interfere with other users’ accounts, or otherwise undermine the intended operation of the Service.
- Lawful use: You will not use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any content, suspend or terminate any account, and restrict access to the Service for any user who violates these standards of conduct. We are not obligated to provide advance notice before taking such action, though we will endeavor to do so when practical.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Ownership
All content, design, source code, graphics, logos, branding, and other materials comprising the Service are the property of Kinsleo Media LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
6.2 Your Predictions
Bracket predictions are factual forecasts about sporting events and do not constitute creative or copyrightable works. As such, you do not retain intellectual property rights over your predictions. However, we will not sell your prediction data to third parties.
6.3 FIFA Trademarks
“FIFA,” “FIFA World Cup,” and related marks are registered trademarks of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). TheWorldCupGuide.com and the Bracket Predictor are independent, fan-created projects. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to FIFA, any national football association, any participating team, or any official World Cup organizing body. All references to FIFA and the World Cup are made solely for purposes of identification and commentary.
7. Affiliate Links and Disclosure

The Service is entirely free to use. We accept voluntary tips from users who wish to support the project. Tips are processed through Stripe and are subject to a minimum amount of $5.
- Voluntary: Tips are entirely optional. No features, content, or functionality are gated behind payment of any kind.
- Non-refundable: All tips are considered final and are not refundable, as they are voluntary contributions rather than payments for goods or services.
- Payment security: All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see, receive, store, or have access to your payment card details. Your financial information is subject to Stripe’s own terms of service and privacy policy.
- Purpose: Tips help us cover the costs of hosting, development, and ongoing maintenance of the Service.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KINSLEO MEDIA LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Without limiting the foregoing, we make no representations or warranties that:
- The Service will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or free from errors or technical issues;
- The information, content, or predictions available through the Service are accurate, complete, or current;
- The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations;
- Any defects or errors in the Service will be corrected.
Entertainment only: The Bracket Predictor is a prediction game for entertainment purposes only. It does not involve gambling, wagering, or prizes with monetary value. No real money can be won through participation in the prediction game or placement on leaderboards.
Third-party services: The Service relies on third-party providers including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Beehiiv (newsletter), and Vercel (hosting). We are not responsible for the availability, performance, security, or policies of these third-party services.
Tournament changes: The schedule, format, participating teams, venues, and other aspects of the 2026 WC are determined solely by FIFA and are subject to change at any time. We are not responsible for any discrepancies between the Service and actual tournament details.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KINSLEO MEDIA LLC, ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, COMPUTER DAMAGE, SYSTEM FAILURE, OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE ACTUALLY PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS FREE AND TIPS ARE VOLUNTARY, THIS AMOUNT MAY BE ZERO DOLLARS ($0).
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF YOU RESIDE IN SUCH A JURISDICTION, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kinsleo Media LLC, its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights; or (d) any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service, including your display name.
12. Termination
12.1 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, abusive conduct, or activity that we determine to be harmful to the Service or its users.
12.2 By You
You may stop using the Service at any time without notice. If you wish to have your account and associated data permanently deleted, you may submit a request to hello@theworldcupguide.com.
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including but not limited to Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Indemnification), and 13 (Governing Law).
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. Nothing in these Terms is intended to override mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply in your jurisdiction of residence.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify, amend, or replace these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms. The invalidity or unenforceability of any single provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
