The tournament will contain 48 teams for the first time ever for a World Cup and will be spread across 16 cities.
USA will have 11 host cities, Canada with 2 host cities and Mexico with 3 host cities.

Please Note – we have read that “FIFA requires host cities to provide free transportation to and from the event site for fans with tickets” – so there may be a World Cup 2026 specific transit option that pops up but in the meantime, we’ll detail current public transit options and info below.
